Research Report on Minimum Wages in the Country

The Research Report
The Research Report should be formatted as a business report will be single-spaced and can have headings and images that support the work. Colors and font choices are up to the student. The page counts suggested below are the amount of content expected for each section, however, based on formatting and style there could be more pages.
Research for this report should be from academic sources, however, students may additionally collect data from their organization with consent (please discuss this with the instructor). The final report should be something the student would want to present to the leaders of their organization.
• This project will be a research report that addresses a current problem in the field (Check attachment- Topic on minimum wages in the country). Students will locate evidence of a problem in their field (either one at their organization or one that has been reported in other organizations). After the problem has been defined, students will research solutions and create a research-based recommendation paper suggesting the possible solution to the problem.

This part of the capstone project should include the following parts:

1. an introduction which outlines the problem that will be solved and presents the evidence that defines the problem (2 to 3 pages);
2. an executive summary of the research found that addresses the problem and offers a possible solution (1 to 2 pages);
3. a discussion of the research found in detail that sets up the solution the student will recommend (6 to 8 pages);
4. a presentation of data (key performance indicators or other data) that is relevant to the project, in a creative visualization, and
5. the final recommendation(s) to leaders in the organization(s) affected by the problem (recommendations must be supported by the research presented and include an analysis by the student as to why the chosen solution would be the most effective) (2 to 3 pages).

APA citations and references are still required. A minimum of ten (10) quality references (six must be scholarly, peer-reviewed) must be used in this research project
