  • For this assignment you will choose a meditation from a free app such as Insight Timer, Calm, or Headspace. You will select a 20 minute meditation of your choice. After completion of the exercise you will do the following.

1.  Discuss your experience including how you felt during the meditation and later when you were not meditating. It is not unusual to become drowsy, or distracted. Simply redirect yourself back to the meditation. 

2.  Identify a chronic condition that may improve with this therapy. Explain the chronic condition as well as the benefits of this therapy and the expected results. Very important to look at the literature for the condition in relation to meditation.

  •  Review the videos and learning materials to help reinforce your learning.
  • Include the type of meditation and source.
