Module 8: Concluding assignments
Introduction
Okay, now what? You have learned about health policy and the U.S health care system in this course. Now what are you going to do to improve health care in the U.S.?
This week you will learn something about how to make policy change by engaging in political action and advocacy for the issues you care about as a citizen, health care consumer, and health professional. Knowing who your elected officials are and learning how to deliver legislative testimony are early, but important steps in the policy-making process. And of course, don’t forget to participate at a very basic-level in politics—know the issues, the candidates, and vote in each and every election!
