Media Violence and Children

I am interested in understanding how violent media consumption influences children’s behavior. This topic interests me because we live in a digital era where children consume a lot of digital media content. I am interested in understanding how media violence contributes to the development aggressive and violent tendencies among children. I am interested in understanding what aspects of violent media cause children to model this repetitive consumption of violent

media. I would like to investigate further the basis of new studies which contradict the established theory that the consumption of violent media causes children to become violent and aggressive. I am also interested in understanding the hypodermic needle model, which has been used to support that media influences the behavior of consumers. I also want to know why this theory is problematic.
