Evaluate the responses to the interview questions and craft a narrative summary using the following guidelines:
- Provide an introduction which provides context for the rest of the paper.
- Role of the leader: Provide a brief description of the role of the leader interviewed.
- Narrative of the interview: Provide a summary of the interview responses. Please be sure to address each of the interview questions in your discussion.
- Knowledge integration: Using what you have learned in this course about leadership styles, provide a description of the leadership type for the interviewee and why you chose this type. Support your discussion with at least one scholarly source.
- Reflection: Reflect and summarize how your perspective on the role of the leader has been impacted as a result of the information shared during the interview. How will you apply what you have learned from this leader in your practice?
- Conclusion: Provide a reflective conclusion on the interview as it pertains to future goals in nursing.
- APA formatting: This paper requires an APA formatted title page and any sources used should be appropriately cited.
Please review APA guidelines for correct citations of a Personal Communication. This can be found on p. 260 of your APA 7th Edition Manual. This is the most common mistake made in this week’s assignment. Your interviewee should be treated as any other source, and anything paraphrased from that interview needs to be cited in your paper.

• Patient/staff advocacy. There was a situation where a post-op open heart surgical patient was not feeling well. He called his wife and told her he was going to bed and would see her tomorrow. He has symptoms of a pulmonary embolus(PE). She informed the charge nurse who ignored her concerns. He continued to decline, and she escalated to the house supervisor. That situation taught her to trust her instincts and continue to advocate for the patient.
