The Signature Assignment will be 8-10 pages (excluding cover page and references) and include a minimum of 4 sources from the Touro library.

The intent of the signature assignment is to be an extension of the case assignment. In the case assignment you discussed your roles and responsibilities as an administrator, stakeholders, ethical and legal policies including HIPAA.

Based on what you have learned in the previous 4 modules, write an essay that addresses the following:

1. Provide a summary of your case assignment. This should be a brief 1 page summary.
2. Discuss the role of an information system department in healthcare delivery.
3. Discuss any strategies and diversity eKorts/initiative you will implement to improve cultural competency.
4. Discuss the financial impact of Medicaid, Medicare, Insurance payment reduction and Healthcare reform on your organization.
5. Discuss future challenges in the healthcare workforce, global challenges and technological challenges.
6. Conclude with a brief (2-3 sentences) that reɦects what you have learned by doing this assignment.

Writing Guidelines
Essay must be double-spaced with 1-inch margins and typed in 12-point Times New Roman.
Your paper should have a title page and references page (not included in the 8-10 page total count). Essays should be proofread for spelling and grammar mistakes.
You must cite all texts used, including page numbers to avoid plagiarism.
Make sure your paper has an introduction (with purpose statement), main points in the body of the paper, and an overall conclusion section.
Build support in your paper with background material including library sources that use the terms we discussed throughout the course/program (Use at least 4 sources from the Touro library)
