Evaluating your Opportunity

Following the guide for customer discovery, write down six questions, three qualitative and three quantitative, that you would ask potential customers. Then, go out and interview as many people as you can to see what they think of your idea. Keep careful track of their answers and use them to rate your predictions and assumptions about the idea itself, as well as useful your questions were for gaining insight. Expect to do this exercise 2 or 3 times to hone in on useful questions before you even get to knowing how well people understand your idea.
