Practicum Experience
In this week’s DQ, please answer the following 5 parts. Each criteria must be a minimum of a paragraph so that your initial DQ has at least 5 paragraphs. A paragraph is a minimum of 5 sentences. It is worth 5% and makes up 1/3 of Assignment 3.
- Explain how the IHI certificates and the FEMA Disaster Management Certificate can impact your current and future nursing practices. Address both please. (150 words)
- Share one thing you found interesting/new about one of the IHI Case Studies you worked on and how it may impact your current or future nursing practice. (150 words)
- Highlight a patient interaction that you experienced in your live practicum that left an impact on you. This can be something you learned or saw or it can be as simple as how it made you feel. (150 words)
- What is your overall summary of thoughts about your total practicum experience (live hours and out of class certificates and case studies) (150 words)
- How do you see nursing informatics being incorporated in population and community health nursing now that you have completed your hours? (150 words)
This DQ post and the peer posts do not need references to support them as this week is meant to be a sharing and learning opportunity for you all. If you do use references to support your work, they will need to be cited appropriately.
You will need to make 3 peer posts of substantial quality. For this week, this means a minimum of 3 paragraphs (300 words/1 page) in each peer post. Please make your posts to 3 different peers this week. Per the syllabus, you must have 3 days of work and at least one day must be non-consecutive.
