WIHI is an exciting “talk show” program from IHI. It is free, and according to IHI (2016) ” it is designed to help dedicated legions of health care improvers worldwide stay current with some of the freshest and most robust thinking and strategies for improving patient care.”
Register at the www.IHI.org site, click on the tab “Resources”, click on “Audio & Video”, and click on “WIHI Audio Broadcasts”. On the far right side of the page a list of previously recorded webinars are listed with a button to click to view all. Select the webinar you want to view and attend one webinar. If you choose, you can select other webinars to attend other than the ones provided by www.IHI.org . Write a 3 page paper (which does not include cover or reference pages) on your webinar providing the following information:
- Provide the title of the webinar.
- The “Guest Speakers’ name.
- Summarize the webinar identifying 2-3 main concepts.
- Provide your commentary on this webinar: Did it address the topic sufficiently? Any strengths and weaknesses in the information provided? Be sure to support your views with other resources and references from scholarly journals and credible web sources.
- APA format including cover page, running head, page numbers, in-text citations and a reference list are required. You should use correct grammar and spelling. An abstract IS NOT needed for this assignment. Points will be deducted for papers that exceed the page limit.
